Markcraft

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 14, 2026.

This explains what Markcraft collects, why, and how to have it deleted. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We don't sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to brokers, not to anyone.

While you look at logos

Logo previews are drawn in your own browser. What you type (your business name, what you do, the small line and style choices) stays on your device.

To hide logos that are already sold, your browser sends us a one-way code (a SHA-256 hash) for each option. We can't turn these codes back into your business name, and we don't store them.

You can check this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and make some logos.

What we collect when you buy

Your email address, your business name and small line, the logo you bought (its design settings), which pack, the price, tax and date, and a one-way code of the logo.

Your payment details go to Stripe, which handles them under its own privacy policy. We never see your card number.

Why we use it

To deliver your files, let you download them again and change colours and font, send your receipt and order email, answer you when you write to us, never sell the same logo twice, and keep the records tax law requires.

We don't send marketing emails. If we ever do, we'll only send them to people who ask for them, as Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) requires.

Cookies and tracking

Markcraft uses no cookies, no ads and no third-party scripts or fonts. Every file the site loads comes from Markcraft itself.

We keep three daily totals: how many times logos were made, how many times checkout was started, and how many orders were paid. They're plain counts with nothing about who did it: no names, emails, IP addresses or device details.

Cloudflare, which hosts the site, keeps its own short-term request logs and visit counts to run and protect it.

Where it's stored and who processes it

Orders are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts Markcraft. Order emails are sent through Resend. Payments are handled by Stripe, which receives your email, payment details and billing location directly from you on its checkout page and, as merchant of record, uses them under its own privacy policy.

These companies may process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where local laws may let authorities access it. They only process it to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

Your email, business name and logo: until you erase them (see below) or ask us to.

The order number, date, product and amount: 6 years, because Canadian tax law requires it. We also keep the one-way code of your logo so we never sell it again.

Your choices and rights

Erase: your order page has an Erase my details button that removes your business name, logo and email right away. You can also email us and we'll do it within 7 days.

Access and correction: email us to get a copy of what we hold about you or to correct it. We answer within 30 days, as PIPEDA requires.

Complaints: write to us first. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
